Illustration Family Portrait

I love these orders of family portraits. It is so challenging and fun to try to capture people and their personality in an illustration. This order I got from a friend to draw a friend of hers and to give the illustration as a present. I got some information and pictures to work from. In this case I had a lot of picture material on internet as well as she is one of Sweden's best dressage riders sucessfully representing Sweden in the last world championship, Jeanna Högberg . I sat up one evening and made this drawing and worked a lot with bright fun colors. I am happy with the result and hope that they also got happy with it.

Funky hat in action

I got a lovely picture of very cute Doris wearing her new elephant hat I sent them last week. I love to see my products in action!

Funky elephant hats

I love this cute elephant fabric in organic cotton. I have it in both pink and blue and it is great to combine with some cute colorful patterns. Here is some of my latest combinations. Also the fabric on the bib is organic jersey cotton from german company Lillestoff.

Baby presents Made with Love

Since I got my new cool sewing machine I have been creating a lot of hats & bibs in different shapes, fabric, pattern and colors. I have also widen my portfolio and are now making handy and of course colorful holders for pacifiers. Here is some of my latest creations and presents to new funky babies I know. I will take pictures of product I have for sale when I get a chance as I get a lot of questions of what I have.

Still around

Yes I am still around I don't know just been busy with one million different things and now I don't know where to start.. I have so many new hats in cute fabrics that I have created and bibs but also illustrations to show you Maybe tomorrow I will have time  Yes lets aim for that

Sewing creations

I love my new babylock sewing machine and I am producing hats and bibs like never before. It is a totally revolutionary feeling working with this machine. As soon as I have some time over in the evenings I am creating some new creations for smaller babies inspired by Filip and for older kids inspired by Mila. I have bought some new fabrics but I am also using fabrics from clothing that I no longer can wear or are worn-out at places. It feels great to recycle fabric when I can at the moment I mainly use it as back part of bibs to make the soft for drooling babies. Here is some of my latest creations. I will get around to take pictures of what I have for sale if anyone would be interested.

Ready for civilization..

We came to Lundsätter in March. It was cold and dark. Very dark out here in the forest. Quiet and fresh and I feel safe but sometimes little scared of the dark and the quietness. It got brighter and brighter by each week. By Midsummer it was more or less daylight around the clock. During the summer it feels right to be here in the nature even though of course hard not having Loren around all the time. Now it is darker and dark again. I can feel the autumn freshness in the air. And I feel it is time to move back to civilization. Tonight it hit me hard that I want to live with street lights and people around now when the summer has been and gone. Also missing being all together a lot making and enjoying dinners together, discuss the day, watch series or simply just share a boring Thursday together.

Insta Illustration Challenge

Last week I went all in in an illustration challenge on Instagram. The account is called @enkreativgrej2015 #enkreativgrejomdagen2015 and is inspiring creative souls with different topics or themes for each day. It was such fun small statements to create something from last week of August that I just couldn't resist to participate. 24/8 #SomeoneCouldGettItInTheEye 25/8 # What AboutMe!? 26/8 #SurelyThatIsOverdrawing!? 27/8 #NowYouAreJustMakingThingsUp 28/8 #WhatIfEverybody! 29/8 #CanYouImagineWhatPeopleThrowAway 30/8 #WeAlwaysHave... 31/8 #DontYouHaveAnythingMoreImportantToDo?!
